Ozomatli -- "Ozomatli"

Imagine taking a ten piece latin group that sings in spanish, add in a bunch of english rappers, stir it together and add in a whole lot of Funkiness and you have Ozomatli. This the first album by Ozomatli was the first one I ever heard and I was as blown away then as I am today by how awesome of a sound this is. You won't find a band like Ozomatli anywhere else. This particular cd has the band accompanied by Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 and Cut Chemist on the turntables. This cd excels so much in creating and defining new sounds, there are just so many things that go on and it all mixes into good music.

Those that are willing to try new things might want to try this group. Also those that like salsa, latin or spanish music, plus those that enjoy musical rap should check this one out. If you haven't heard Ozomatli yet, give them a try. 4 out of 4 stars staight up.
