This self titled album is the second solo project by Trey Anastasio, the lead singer and guitarist of Phish. This album was released in April of 2002. I consider Trey to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time, so I am a bit biased. That being said, this is still a pretty good album. It has a lot more horns then any of Phish's music which is an interesting addition. There is a bit less jamming on this album, but it is still there. Most of the songs on this album are also very mellow. Probably my favorite song is the very upbeat song "Alive Again".

This is a very good album, but it also lags in some parts and fails to keep your attention in others. I'll recommend it to those that either like Phish or have liked Phish. 3 out of 4 stars for this one.
